Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Carol Ellett

When: Monday, February 1st at 2:00pm
Where: Journey Community Church in the Main Sanctuary

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Journey Community Church Grace Fund.

Dear Journey Family,

It is with deep regret to inform you that our faithful, servant of the Lord, Carol Ellett made her grand entrance into heaven this morning at 7:10AM. With her family by her side, Carol peacefully stepped into eternity. As it says in II Corinthians 5:8-9, "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him." I know without a shadow of a doubt Carol Ellett received a "well done, thy good and faithful servant" from the Lord.

As you know Carol has been fighting the good fight of faith for a few years and she continued to fight until the very end. Her faith was not weak, but stronger than ever. We are asking that you continue to keep Simon, Robyn and Alex in your prayers. They are doing as well as can be expected at this time. Thankfully they each know where to draw their strength from; the Lord and the body of Christ, each of you.

Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday at 2pm. There will be not be any viewing hours. In lieu of flowers, Carol asked that donations be made to the Grace Fund at Journey Community Church. This fund is used to support the less fortunate in our community and various outreaches.

May you receive the comfort and grace of God while walking this part of the journey.
